Become a RACI Member

Non-Corporate Membership

  • Student studying for a diploma or degree;
  • Person with an interest in chemistry or related science discipline;
  • Those with a diploma or degree and less than the required years of relevant work experience.

Corporate Membership

Member (MRACI)

  • Those with a relevant Australian three (3) year science degree and at least three (3) years of employment in a chemistry related field.
  • Those who do not hold a science degree but have at least six (6) years relevant experience such as responsible laboratory or management roles in chemistry related fields.

Member Chartered Chemist (MRACI CChem)

  • Those with an RACI accredited degree.
  • Those with the qualifications for MRACI, Chartered Chemist membership will be based on the recommendation of an Assessment Committee.

Fellow (FRACI)

  • In recognition of a position of eminence in the profession of chemistry for those who are MRACI members and based on the recommendation of an assessment committee.

Fellow Chartered Chemist (FRACI CChem)

  • In recognition of a position of eminence in the profession of chemistry those who are already MRACI CChem members and based on the recommendation of an assessment committee.
